In this role, you will provide transportation to and from facilities for clients/patients participating in provided programs while ensuring their safety during transportation and maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of the van. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients to and from approved designations, following a set schedule
• Ensure client safety during transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Schedule, route, and pick-up clients as assigned; only scheduled clients will be allowed in the van
• Report any suspicious activity while transporting clients
• Complete necessary paperwork, including incident reports and other records
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients/patients
• Implement safety check procedures for the vehicles according to company policy
• Report any mechanical or other problems with the vehicle to leadership immediately
• Participate in staff development activities and required meetings
• Maintain the van's cleanliness and ensure it is well-maintained, arranging for routine maintenance and repairs as needed
• Communicate effectively and establish positive relationships with clients, staff, and community members

Requirements:

• Valid Missouri Class E Driver's License with a good driving record
• Eligibility to be included on the company insurance policy for van drivers
• CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
• High school diploma or GED, and at least 21 years old (required for insurance purposes)
• Successful completion of a background check including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect
• Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and current vehicle insurance
• Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including walking, running, and assisting clients as needed
