Together with our communities across the globe, our vision is to push culture forward because we believe that the pursuit of progression never ends.What will you do?As part of the Vans Americas eCommerce team, the Senior Coordinator, Digital Operations is responsible to contribute to our eCommerce goals through a focus on: technology, order fulfillment, customer service, and back-end processes. Reporting into the Director Digital Operations, the Senior Coordinator will support the overall Digital Operations and eCommerce teams, and play an integral role interfacing across key VF support functions. This role is based in Costa Mesa, CA - we are typically in office 3 days per week.Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
  • Deliver enhancements to our eCommerce technology by performing project management duties such as: Business requirements gathering, timeline & resource planning, user acceptance testing, training, and documentation.
  • Support the eCommerce executional teams in technical bug resolution and process execution.
  • Manage regular communication between the Vans eCommerce business and VF support functions including Technology teams, DC Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service.
  • Partner with the Vans Omnichannel team regarding rules & reporting for store fulfillment of eCommerce orders.
  • Establish KPIs and regular reporting to govern the scope of Digital Operations.
  • Own eCommerce vendor & contract management, as well as annual financial planning.
  • Own eCommerce process documentation; helping to build-out/refine our standard operating procedures, and keeping them up-to-date.
  • Conduct the bi-weekly business acceptance validation process to ensure quality release into the production environment.What success looks like:
  • Driving organizational efficiencies through clear communication, documented & instituted standard operating procedures, and a passion for operational excellence.
  • Establishing KPIs across the Digital Operations scope of responsibility, and transparently reporting on performance; driving the KPIs and demonstrating continuous improvement.
  • Excellent project management and delivering initiatives on-time, in-full, within budget, and with excellent stakeholder & change management.
  • Minimize and eliminate service interruptions to the digital operations on Vans.com, maintaining consistent service availability and stability throughout the year.
  • Ultimately contributing to the achievement of quarterly and annual eCommerce sales targets.What do you need to succeed?The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
  • Experience working in eCommerce and/or a digital operational role.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce technology and processes.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and project management methodologies a plus, specifically Agile.
  • Experience with business requirements definition, building test cases, and QA testing.
  • Preferred knowledge of tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics.
  • Analytical and data-driven; a problem solver by nature.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and diligent; excellent follow-through and follow-up.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder.
