Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a vCISO Cybersecurity Consultant located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The consultant will be responsible for conducting cybersecurity assessments, ensuring application, network, and information security, performing vulnerability assessments, and developing incident response plans. Some work from home is acceptable in this role.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity and Information Security skills
• Application Security and Network Security proficiency
• Experience in Vulnerability Assessment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients or respond to incidents on-site.

As a client-facing Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be the frontline of our cybersecurity efforts, working directly with clients to assess their security needs, design bespoke security solutions, and ensure their digital environments are fortified against emerging threats. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise, client management skills, and a deep understanding of cyber risk management strategies.
