DescriptionThere is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.JOB SUMMARY:The Vehicle Operator is an active member of the team and provides transportation as needed for individuals to attend the Peer Day Program.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate motor vehicles to transport individuals to and from Peer Day Program.
- Maintain all training necessary to operate a state vehicle and transport individuals.
- Complete and maintain all reports, transportation logs.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and reports turned in to the Health & Safety officer each month.
- Ensures vehicles are up to standards and in compliance.
- Follows established policies and procedures regarding transportation of individuals and follows establish policies and procedures regarding calling in for unscheduled absences.
- Uses time management and maintains schedule.
- Uses initiative and judgement to assure that circumstances requiring special attention (i.e. individual acting out) are referred to the supervisor and or director.
- Work flexible hours to ensure that individuals arrive to their destination at the appropriate time.
- Other duties as assigned.
RequirementsMINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Georgia drivers license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and three years of driving experience.
- Must be able to pass intensive criminal background investigation, routine drug screens, and have a clean 7yr. motor vehicle report.
