Job Summary

We are seeking an Event Manager to oversee the operations that drive our high-volume, premium events in an unforgettable 3500 square feet space on the 101st floor of Hudson Yards. The ideal candidate will work closely with our internal team and clients to ensure each event's unique needs are met and we continue to offer an unparalleled experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily operational needs to ensure successful service based on each event in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Understand and maintain facilities in collaboration with the Venue Management Team.
  • Participate actively in captains' meetings.
  • Identify and rectify challenges related to facilities that could hinder service execution.
  • Maintain communication with the Events Team, Edge Team, and Peak Restaurant FOH team throughout the event.
  • Ensure open and direct communication with the event producer to execute all aspects of the evening.
  • Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of each event in accordance with client needs and venue requirements.
  • Manage Equipment Associate team throughout setup, service, and break down of the event.
  • Oversee organization, cleanliness, and service standards set forth by the house.
  • Ensure all guests receive excellent service and hospitality throughout the event.
  • Work in unison with the Peak FOH team to ensure easy guest arrival and departure from Level 5 lounge.
  • Manage guest arrival and ensure safe departure of all guests and RHC staff.
  • Command proficient understanding of facilities, DOH and DOB guidelines, as it pertains to department needs.
  • Report successes, issues, or areas of improvement to Senior Venue Manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of operations management experience.
  • Flexible schedule based on event needs.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team management and development skills.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs.
  • Financial acumen, managing labor, purchasing, vendors, and quality control.
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute operational needs of the Venue.
Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000 per annum.
