Veterinary Receptionist/CSROur ideal candidate must be highly motivated, reliable, able to communicate clearly, prioritize tasks, work independently and pay close attention to detail. The CSR works an 8 or 10 hour shift scheduled shift Monday - Friday and plays a vital role in providing excellent client service. In addition to greeting clients, checking in clients, taking payments, making appointments, answering calls, the CSR is also responsible for entering clients/patients into the practice software. The CSR provides support to the surgeons and all other CVSS employees as needed to ensure high quality patient and client care.Job duties include but are not limited to: Greet clients/patients in a friendly and courteous manner, check in clients, triage phone calls, make appointments & collect payments.Must be able to communicate clearly with teammates & clients. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently or with a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Enthusiasm for working with animals and their families.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Enthusiasm for working with animals and their families.Education/Experience: One of the following qualifications required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year in customer service preferred.Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing with individuals and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems within the guidelines of CVSS policy and basic patient care principles.
