Job Type Full-time Description Veterinary Receptionist Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic is seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Receptionist plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive atmosphere and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities: - Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage client inquiries - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the clinic's database - Process payments and handle billing inquiries - Assist with the coordination of patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient service - Provide general administrative support to the veterinary team, including filing, data entry, and inventory management - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Employee discounts on veterinary services and products - Opportunities for professional growth and development - Full time candidates can qualify for Health, dental, and vision insurance - Full time candidates will earn Paid time off and holidays Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or similar setting preferred - Avimark experience is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine love for animals - Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Scheduled hours will vary during our operational hours. Our hours are Monday & Thursday 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7:30-5:30 and Saturday 8:30-1. We close for lunch from 1-2 daily. Please email your resume with a cover letter.
