We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Strategy team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Help develop, shape & articulate BNY's global strategy across the Bank and business lines.
  • Work with individual business executives and functional leaders to help shape priorities and connect into Bank-wide strategic narratives and priorities.
  • Lead project workstreams end-to-end as part of broader engagements with responsibilities including: executing hypothesis-driven analyses, leading small group working sessions, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external audiences and present them to senior team members and firm leadership.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • 7-10 years of related experience; experience in management consulting and/or banking preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • An entrepreneurial and self-directed mindset—able to take a conceptual business challenge from an initial set of facts and hypotheses to a structured business plan and solution.
  • An ability to work on a fast-paced team and to focus on multiple complex problems across the entire breadth of the financial services ecosystem.
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset interested in shaping the future of financial services through one of its major stakeholders.
  • A thoughtful approach to communication, able to express complex ideas in simple, practical terms for a wide range of audiences in both written and verbal formats.
  • A global mindset and experience working across a diverse set of environments.
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $97,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
