About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Credit Risk Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the 2nd line of defense for a portfolio of technology and asset-based lending transactions, including venture loans and distressed financings. This critical role involves active portfolio management, providing credit recommendations on new transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements. The Credit Risk Manager will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating credit risks, staying abreast of sector and regulatory developments, and working closely with senior business line members on structuring and legal documentation.Applicants for the Credit Risk Manager position should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or a related field, with at least 6 years' of experience in credit and risk-related functions. In-depth knowledge of corporate credit analysis, loan structures, and credit and risk management issues is essential, as is an understanding of the regulatory environment. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a proactive approach to risk management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with standard office software and have a proven track record of making sound credit decisions that align with the company's risk appetite.
