  • Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
  • Supervise, instruct and review accounting related reports prepared by others to ensure accuracy & timely filing.
  • Maintain NY Branch Financial Management Manual with annual revisions & updates thereof.
  • Complete ongoing accounts reconciliation review, along with reviews of all general ledger accounts for accuracy.
  • Provide assistance to coordinate with parent company in HK and China, including preparing some reports to parent company in Beijing in Chinese, translating certain regulation updates for HO, providing materials and financial data to parent company.
  • Assist FMD Head on coordinating with CITIC Group on FRY reporting and FHC Application in bilingual.
  • Coordinate and take lead on Crystal automation reporting project.
  • Be familiar with China and HK accounting and reporting standards, USGAAP and tax regulations.
  • Review daily summary & FX position report to Head Office, weekly loans & advance summaries to Head Office.
  • Maintain NY Branch Report Control, monitor timely completion of reports per the report control, with management notification if such does not occur.
  • Provide assistance to check issue and check data entry vouchers.
  • Provide assistance to prepare monthly and quarterly reports to regulators and Head Office.
  • Routine maintenance of accounting system.
  • Provide information to tax consultant and help coordinate with tax consultant, auditors and other regulatory institution.
  • Research and conduct analysis and provide feedback on RM's initiated financing recommendations.
  • Build and maintain financial models and perform advanced financial statement analysis and cash-flow projection modeling, as well as sensitivity tests.
  • Develop and implement an automation system for officer performance report and customer profitability analysis, significantly enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update access programs to ensure all reports are current and accurate.
  • Review and track automated report accuracy by continue improving the quality.
  • Assist in ad-hoc requests related to various department automated report requests.
  • Assist in monitor process gaps and make recommendations on technological efficiencies.
  • Requirements:1. Education QualificationBachelor degree required, major in accounting, audit, tax, finance or other business-related focus; Master degree preferred.2. Working ExperiencesRequired 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax, financial analysis; Big 4 audit or tax experience preferred; Besides USGAAP and tax regulations, be familiar with China and HK accounting and reporting standards.3. Professional Qualification / HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework Qualification / Professional Examination / LicenseAICPA preferred, ACCA/HKCPA/CICPA preferred.4.
