The Vice President of Human Capital is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering exceptional client service and driving revenue growth. This role is crucial in managing key accounts, fostering client relationships, and leading the execution of strategic business plans. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop team members while leading innovative strategies that drive value for our clients.
OBJECTIVES AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with all levels of client organizations through exceptional, value-added service and consultation.
- Oversee the company's largest and/or most complex clients and collaborate closely with the management team to maintain and increase account revenues.
- Lead the strategic development and execution of service plans for each client. This includes the full-cycle service model, starting with the development of a strategic plan leading up to and through the renewal process.
- Guide and develop team members, including Vice Presidents, Senior Associates, and Benefit Analysts, in providing proactive, ongoing client support in HR, compliance, finance, wellness/population health management, and innovation.
- Actively contribute to new sales efforts with the M&A team by developing pursuit strategies, closing new employee benefits platforms, assisting in onboarding/transitioning new business, and promoting proactive and forward thinking marketing strategies and best practices across our PE partners, current clients, and prospective clients.
- Lead the development of Benefit Analysts and Senior Associates/Client Executives in delivering exceptional, value-added service to clients. Provide professional independent advice, counsel, and guidance in the area of Employee Benefits and Human Capital.
- Ensure program compliance with government regulations, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of existing programs, negotiate with carriers to develop cost-effective options for clients, and lead presentations related to benefits strategies.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance companies, assisting clients in defining their objectives, and constantly evaluate whether existing programs are accomplishing intended objectives.
- Consult on matters with new ideas that promote efficiency and process improvement including finance, business planning, recruiting, due diligence, communication, wellness, and special projects.
- Invest efforts in training/education to provide clients with the industry's best products and services, and stay updated on important legislation that may impact the client's business.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:- 8-10 years of sales/consulting experience in the health solutions industry required
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

- Problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities
- An ACTIVE Resident Life & Health insurance License, in the state where you reside.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
