20th November, 2024Vice President - Oakland County, MI or Albuquerque, NM Can be based out of either our Corporate Headquarters in Oakland County, MI or our manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico (preferred). Key Functions & Responsibilities of the Vice President
  • Lead the organization by adhering to our Vision and Values. Execute the Strategy by developing a robust Sales plan, striving for Operational Excellence, and fostering a Performance Culture.
  • Ensure all site operations comply with federal, state, and local safety standards. Maintain a strong safety culture and drive improvements in workplace health and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies for market expansion, product innovation, operational efficiency, and key customer and partner relationships, including joint ventures, to drive growth and competitiveness.
  • Manage an annual Budget to support business planning and manufacturing schedules.
  • Serve as a member of the senior management team, contributing to tactical and strategic decision making and process improvement initiatives.
  • Publish monthly business reports based on SCQDP.
  • Take ownership of product delivery, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality shipments that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Eliminate waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
  • Develop and set expectations for all employees on site through production management systems and key performance indicators.
  • Justify and execute Capital Expenditures by assessing business needs, preparing cost analyses, and ensuring successful project implementation.
Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities of the Vice President Leadership
  • Proven track record of P&L responsibility and delivering results.
  • Strong preference for experience in the metals foundry industry.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role within the metals or related manufacturing industry, with a strong operations/engineering background.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and leadership of sales, marketing, engineering, purchasing, financial planning, business planning, and operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset and quality orientation.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent (MBA preferred).
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification and proven experience in driving operational improvements.
