About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President to join its Legal & Compliance team, specifically to support the Infrastructure business. The role involves working closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and investment team to ensure the Compliance Program aligns with applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the U.S., U.K., and European Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal and compliance matters, including preparing regulatory reports and filings, performing compliance reviews, providing strategic advice on legal and regulatory issues, and developing and delivering compliance training. Additionally, the role includes leadership responsibilities for ESG-related workstreams, assisting with new product development, and supporting firm-wide legal and compliance initiatives.Applicants must be attorneys with at least 6 years of experience, preferably with a background in compliance at an asset manager or regulatory consulting firm. Familiarity with SEC, CFTC, and European private placement registration processes, as well as federal, state, and international securities law and regulation, is required. The ideal candidate will have experience as a funds or regulatory attorney, strong organizational and writing skills, and the ability to manage projects independently. Experience with private equity and hedge fund structures, compliance with registered funds, and an understanding of derivatives transactions are all considered advantageous. The role demands excellent interpersonal communication skills and the capacity to address complex compliance, legal, and business problems with commercially actionable work plans.
