Employers also benefit from potential cost-savings, employees who are more engaged with their benefits, and most importantly, healthier!Who You AreYou are a Business Development professional that is excited about hustling to find customers, structuring long-term relationships, and building a scalable commercial engine. You likely have 5-7 years of experience in some combination of B2B startups and consulting. You will be the first commercial hire and an integral partner to the CEO.You are looking for a role where you can make a real impact.   • Sales
    • Build a pipeline of prospects through direct outreach and various prospecting channels.
    • Demo product in the marketplace and represent Budgie at various conferences and meetings.
    • Own end-to-end sales process with large enterprise clients.
    • Understand, navigate, and manage a complex set of stakeholders.
    • Evaluate timelines, manage objections, and demonstrate potential ROI to prospects.
    • Negotiate contracts/terms.
    • Manage a seamless hand-off of signed clients to implementation/customer success counterparts.
    • Commercial Scaling
      • Partner with the CEO to identify and act upon opportunities to scale the commercial engine.
      • Responsible for data quality, tracking, and reporting of key sales metrics in Hubspot.
      • Work with Product and Operations counterparts to relay feedback and improve upon the product.
      • Ad Hoc/Special Project
        • Build and refine 1-pagers, pitch decks, presentations, case studies, and other content that can be used to share the value of Budgie in the market.
        • Be prepared to work on projects and initiatives to support the broader business in this pivotal period of growth, including commercial planning and forecasting, competitive research, investor updates, and support for fundraise planning.Required Qualifications: Must-Haves
          • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree.
          • Startup experience or experience building in a 0 to 1 environment.
          • Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Hubspot).
          • Ability to communicate effectively, drive tangible revenue growth, and create trusted relationships with customers.
          • Experience with B2B SaaS sales.Preferred Attributes: Nice-to-Haves
            • Experience in the employee benefits space.
            • MBA or equivalent.Employment Details
              • Total Rewards Package:
                • Cash compensation range: $140,000 - 170,000 base salary per year, as determined by location, experience, and other job-related factors with additional bonus opportunity.
                • All full-time hires are eligible to receive equity (options) in Budgie, as determined by role.
