Summary of Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Commercial Services at Extell Hospitality Services LLC is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all sales, revenue management, and digital strategy for both operated hotels and asset-managed properties, driving value and representing the interests of the developer/owner. Responsibilities include formulating digital marketing strategies, conducting distribution audits, reconciling marketing spend with results, and performing other duties as assigned. This role is critical in enhancing revenue across multiple properties, maximizing distribution opportunities, and building strong relationships with global hotel companies such as Hyatt, Hilton, and IHG. Key responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Management & Digital Strategy: Lead and manage all aspects of revenue management, including pricing strategies, forecasting, STR data analysis, and digital marketing spend. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize conversion rates, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, digital media, and distribution platforms.
  • Asset Management Support: When in an asset manager capacity, work closely with franchisors and brand partners to capitalize on distribution and marketing opportunities. Ensure that all revenue and marketing strategies align with brand goals and maximize profitability.
  • Sales & Revenue Team Oversight: Oversee property-level sales and revenue teams for operated hotels, ensuring cohesive strategies to achieve financial targets. When asset managing, provide guidance and support to property teams, ensuring consistent communication and strategic alignment.
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and comp set analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Develop accurate forecasts based on STR data, market trends, and historical performance to guide budget planning and investment decisions.
  • Digital Marketing & Strategy Implementation: Oversee the digital marketing strategy, with a focus on performance-based marketing and conversion optimization. Manage digital advertising spend, SEO, and paid media efforts, and analyze results to optimize marketing ROI.
  • Collaboration & Liaison with Franchisors: Serve as the primary liaison with major hotel brands, ensuring compliance with brand standards and maximizing opportunities through brand distribution channels. Drive collaboration to increase visibility, improve market share, and enhance digital presence across all properties.
  • Competitive Market Analysis: Regularly review competitive set data, industry reports, and market conditions to adjust strategies and stay ahead of market trends. Ensure that properties are well-positioned to outperform competitors and achieve revenue goals.

Summary of Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work at various locations to include Park City, Utah
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality revenue management, sales, or commercial services.
  • Demonstrated experience in asset management and revenue strategy, preferably in branded and franchised environments.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, STR analysis, and market forecasting.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools, including Google Analytics, paid media platforms, and conversion-based strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to work with internal teams and external franchisors.
