Job Title: Vice President of ConstructionSERVPRO Team Zubricki is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to serve as the Vice President of Construction for all franchise locations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the construction department, ensuring projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. The Vice President of Construction will also play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, including new service offerings and market expansion.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the construction department, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff
  • Oversee all construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry partners
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop new service offerings and expand market reach
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvementPosition Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
    • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial and residential projects
    • Xactimate experience
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Familiarity with construction software and tools, such as Procore and Bluebeam
    • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Willingness to travel as neededSkills/Physical Demands/Competencies
      • Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
      • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
      • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
      • Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
