Vice President of Human Resources Miami Based - Start-up Healthcare experience required

Our client is a start-up healthcare company, offering administrative and management services to healthcare providers, allowing them to focus on clinical care while providing options for transitioning ownership.

Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives in a dynamic startup environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing HR strategies that align with our business goals, particularly in employee benefits management and 401(k) administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Oversee the administration of the 401(k) plan, ensuring compliance and maximizing employee engagement.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes professional development and employee well-being.
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage talent acquisition, retention, and organizational development strategies.
  • Drive performance management and succession planning initiatives.

    • Qualifications:

  • Required - completed Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree helpful
  • SHRM or other certifications are a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in healthcare required
  • Experience working with Providers as an employee, a plus
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits, retirement plans, HR compliance, Payroll systems, LMS, and more
  • Exceptional leadership, communication skills, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work independently
