This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a mid-size manufacturing company. As this role is being handled on a confidential basis for our client, detailed company information will be provided during the initial interview stage.

A rapidly growing leader in custom pre-fabricated steel structures for government and municipal clients is seeking a VP of Manufacturing to drive operational excellence and support its ambitious growth trajectory.

About the Company:

  • Established Success: Founded over two decades ago, with two facilities in the Southeast U.S. Pending acquisitions will significantly expand operations and capacity.

The Opportunity:

This newly created role is critical to rapidly scaling production in 2025. Youll refine operations, integrate new acquisitions, and strengthen lean practices in a highly customer-driven, engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-site operations across two facilities in the Southeast U.S. (Pending M&A expected to nearly double the footprint)
  • Build a lean-focused, metrics-driven culture (SQDC).
  • Scale capacity and integrate M&A operations seamlessly
  • Drive talent development with hands-on, people-first leadership.
  • Oversee processes from raw material welding to advanced product outfitting and assembly.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in engineered-to-order (ETO) or design-to-spec manufacturing.
  • Expertise in welding or metal forming process.
  • Multi-site plant management experience.
  • Strong M&A integration skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving key operational metrics (SQDC).
  • Exceptional people leadership and change management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience using LEAN tools to build capacity, accelerate growth and enable innovation.
