The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize all operational aspects of its food manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that align with company objectives, managing the CapEx budget, and leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. This role demands a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement, manage complex projects, and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with leveraging automation technologies, collaborating with the engineering team, and overseeing plant management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing process.Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior operations role within the manufacturing industry is required, along with a proven track record in CapEx budget management, Lean Manufacturing, project management, GMP, automation, engineering, continuous improvement, plant management, quality management, and strategic planning. The role demands strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in relevant software and technology.
