Since our founding in 2021, Precision has secured over $155 million in funding, developed and validated our technology, and initiated human trials in collaboration with some of the nation's top hospitals.We are seeking a Vice President of People Operations to lead and manage all aspects of People Operations at Precision. This includes talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. To be successful in this role you need to be a hands-on strategic thinker who has led People Operations in startups before, building headcount from 50 - 200+ employees. You must be passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment in early-stage companies. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is on-site at our New York City (Flatiron neighborhood) office. We are unable to consider remote workers or people not currently based in the United States. We are unable to pay relocation for applicants not currently living in the local area. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement people operations strategies aligned with the company's mission and growth objectives.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent in the space. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including oversight of the sourcing, interviewing and onboarding new employees with the assistance of our in-house Senior Recruiter, recruitment agency partners and Operations Coordinators.
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Create and implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction and retention. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our values and mission.
- Organizational Development: Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning, succession planning and change management. Partner with senior leadership to align people operations strategies with business goals.
- Learning and Development: Identify training and development needs across the organization and create comprehensive learning and development programs. Facilitate workshops, training sessions and other opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Performance Management: Design and oversee performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews and career development plans. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- HR Policies and Compliance: Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Ensure all HR practices align with industry standards and best practices.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and/or relevant certification from SHRM or HRCI (PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP)
- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive, hands-on people operations experience, taking multiple companies from 50 - 200+ employees as leader of People Operations or HR.
- Proven experience leading talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management and learning and development in a rapidly-growing organization
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast paced, dynamic environment
