VICE PRESIDENT OF PROCUREMENT - Beacon Mobility : Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with Beacon Mobility's goals and objectives.

* Develop & manage the procurement team and oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing,contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.

* Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal customers.

* Monitor procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize procurement processes.

* Implement and maintain procurement-related technology systems, tools, and processes in collaboration with our IT and PMO groups.

* Work with our internal stakeholders to develop and manage procurement budgets and cost savings targets.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

* Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new procurement techniques.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

* 10+ years of experience in direct and indirect procurement, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

* Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.

* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.

* Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Experience working with procurement-related technology systems, tools, and processes.

* Knowledge of regulatory and ethical procurement requirements.

* Experience in transportation and logistics is important.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
