About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Project Management to lead a team dedicated to the successful execution of complex HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project managers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This leadership role demands a professional with a strong background in project management, particularly within the HVAC, construction, or related fields, and a solid foundation in engineering, preferably with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems. The VP will be tasked with providing strategic guidance, fostering team growth, and standardizing project management processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.Applicants for the VP of Project Management position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in project management, and at least 3 years' in a management or team leadership role. A background in consulting engineering is highly preferred. The role requires in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and engineering fundamentals, as well as proficiency in project management software. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication skills, be adept at problem-solving, and have a proactive approach to risk management. A PMP certification is a plus, and the ability to track and report on key performance indicators is essential for this position.
