About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Heavy Equipment Rental. The successful candidate will be tasked with upholding company-wide gross profitability goals, driving revenue growth, and overseeing the development and management of the entire sales team. This pivotal role involves formulating and executing strategies to protect and expand market share, both in existing and new regions. The VP of Sales will also be responsible for representing the executive team in all business development activities, maintaining high-level national relationships, and leading the sales team in meeting and exceeding financial targets.Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position must have a Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a marketing-related field, and a minimum of 10 years experience in leading sales teams, preferably within the heavy equipment rental, construction, or transportation industries. The role requires a candidate with strong communication, conflict resolution, and critical-thinking skills, who can excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The VP of Sales will be expected to lead by example, participating in safety initiatives, and will work closely with the CEO to drive marketing functions and ensure the sales team is effectively using CRM tools. The position demands a high level of organization, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to travel extensively.
