Vice President of Technology (Post Production) - Prose on Pixels : Job Details

The New York based team at Prose on Pixels, is seeking a visionary VP of Technology to spearhead the advancement and alignment of our US studios. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with both Global and US leadership teams to drive the continuous enhancement of our production software, hardware, and technology. The ideal candidate will champion a culture of innovation and experimentation, working alongside management to address the evolving needs of our production. The VP of Technology will also oversee studio workflows, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and long-term vision for content creation across the studio.

About you:

You are a highly accomplished and respected senior technology leader with extensive experience in the production and post-production of print, digital, and social content. You excel at providing hands-on support for a global production studio network from both technology and IT perspectives.

With natural gravitas, you confidently present and pitch to clients and internal stakeholders. As a proactive and resourceful problem solver, you collaborate effectively with colleagues and are adept at conducting thorough research to address challenges.

You possess a keen understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of the industry, and you are prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into the work. In collaboration with the Global CTO, North American CEO, and US President, you will be responsible for building, connecting, maintaining, and enhancing our global technology stack across multiple sites. Additionally, you bring valuable knowledge and experience with Generative AI and its application in production and post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

Key lead in the initial sell-in, design, and implementation of all client- and agency-facing technology opportunities. Collaborating with the Global CTO, you will craft and execute the Prose on Pixels strategy for 3D and virtual production.

As one of the most senior US technology leaders for Prose on Pixels, you will particularly focus on Generative AI, representing the company on a global stage. You will work closely with the Global CTO and strategy team to design, implement, and maintain our content measurement technology stack.

Your role will encompass the implementation and ongoing management of all studio-facing technology, including integrated film and print workflows. You will oversee our borderless studios approach, managing cloud-based asset management, distribution, and high-speed file transfers.

Additionally, you will partner with the Global Ops team to develop and maintain Prose on Pixels' disaster recovery systems and manage MIS system integration. Working with the Global CTO, operations, and finance teams, you will be responsible for global hardware identification and acquisition. Finally, you will set and implement global process alignment in coordination with the global operations team.

Role Specifics:

Ensure our technologies are utilized efficiently, profitably, and securely. Collaborate with the Global CTO and finance to budget for technology initiatives, present compelling business cases, and optimize resource use. Regularly analyze performance, identify improvements, and recommend corrective actions.

Stay ahead of market trends and new technology tools, partnering to learn the latest platforms and solutions.
