Salary: $170,000-$190,000 + Bonus + LTI

About This Opportunity:

The VP, Operations is a full-time, on-site position for a leading Food & Beverage Services company. The successful candidate will oversee all operations and site management of a 125k sq. ft. distribution center in Buffalo.

The VP, Operations will be responsible for…

• Managing a team of senior warehouse and transportation managers to ensure a culture focused on people, safety, and cost is built through meaningful engagements.
• Implementing and ensuring that procedures are followed to provide an efficient, and service-oriented department.
• Developing and executing strategic plan for the operations department and overall DC business goals.
• Maintaining profitable operations by controlling inventory, losses, accidents and safety, etc.
• Enforcing DC & company policies on safety and employee discipline.

The ideal VP, Operations should have…

• A 4-year college degree.
• 10+ years of logistics, operations, & distribution experience with at least 5+ years of experience in a management position.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations + knowledge of OSHA & HAACP regulations.
• Experience with labor relationships and collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
