If you're ready to create excitement and drive what's next in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.The Vice President, Operations (Smokeless) oversees production operations ensuring manufacturing processes are in line with corporate objectives and run smoothly, efficiently, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire manufacturing operations, ensuring production meets the required deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraintsDevelop and implement strategic manufacturing plans to align business strategy, productivity, and profitability within the manufacturing divisionReview analyses of cost, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives and provide regular updates to senior management on critical itemsEstablish and maintain strict quality control measures, meeting industry and customer standardsCreate and maintain relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to supply chain, marketing, quality assurance, and research and development, to ensure cost-effective approaches in supply chain development and the integration of new developments and marketing campaigns into the manufacturing processLead a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean principles for streamlined processesLead the implementation of safety and environmental policies in compliance with government regulations and company standards to ensure a safe workplaceDirect the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maintain production schedulesFoster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance operational efficiencyAddress employees' issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreementsDevelop and implement company/union negotiation strategiesDevelop future leaders by providing resources and support to develop skills and capabilities through unique development opportunitiesPerforms other related duties as requiredQualificationsEstablished knowledge of the tobacco industry to include the execution of tobacco contracts, raw tobacco processing, and tobacco storage10years factory management experience serving in a senior leadership capacity3years experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesResults-oriented and team-oriented, with demonstrated ability to mobilize and manage people at all levels in both union and non-union environmentsKnowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain managementStrong leadership and strategic planning skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaborationDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsProven ability to manage budgets and achieve operational targetsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and compliancePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related fieldWhat we offerBase salary and bonus programMedical, dental, vision, life insurance effective on date of hireGenerous 401(k) PlanDefined Contribution PlanPaid vacation and paid holidaysTuition reimbursementProfessional growth and development programs to help advance your career!Qualifications0 data=display:none;>Skills0>0>0 data=display:none;>Behaviors0>0>:0 data=display:none;>Motivations0>0>:0 data=display:none;>Education0>0>0 data=display:none;>Experience0>0>0 data=display:none;>Licenses & Certifications0>0>Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
