Location of Position
This position is hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days a week required on-site in our NYC office. Travel to job sites will be required on an as-needed basis.

Position Summary
The VP, Preconstruction and Estimating role will manage the transition of CleanCapital's development projects and portfolio into the construction group, support new-build assets in the acquisitions stage, run Request for Proposal processes, generate indicative price estimates, manage EPC and manufacturer partner relationships, and review and assess upcoming shifts in labor and material markets.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, supply chain management, or logistics preferred.
Technical Skills and Experience
5-7+ years of experience in the following areas:
Estimating and takeoffs
Budgeting, cost control, and invoicing
Scheduling
Contract/PO review and negotiation
Preconstruction processes
Must have previous experience as an Estimator, Preconstruction Manager, and/or Project Manager
Must have previous experience in renewable energy
Psychosocial Skills /Human Skills/Behavioral Skills
Must have the ability to define issues, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop sound conclusions.
Proven ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Project management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion.
Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.
