About the Role

The Company is seeking a Technology, Operations, and Procurement Counsel, Vice President to join their legal department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, negotiating, and documenting third-party vendor contracts, and working with various business units on a range of legal matters, including technology, outsourcing, intellectual property, and data. This role requires a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating technology and other vendor contracts, with a strong preference for those with prior in-house experience or experience in a financial services institution. The Vice President - Counsel will also be involved in issue-spotting, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Applicants must be admitted to the NY Bar or be eligible for admission, and have a proven track record of engaging with senior executives, managing projects, and communicating complex legal issues effectively. The role demands a high level of technical and issue-spotting skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining subject matter expertise in technology and procurement regulatory requirements, and staying abreast of emerging legal issues in the technology sector.
