The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking a Vice President US Modernization Sales located in Atlanta, GA.Responsible for driving the success of profitable modernization sales in the region with an emphasis on innovation, efficiencies, differentiated customer service and service growth so the region operates consistently, cohesively and continues to grow in EBIT, volume and exceeds the annual budgetary plan.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Drives and supports a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization in all lines of business. Includes acting as the face of safety and compliance to all employees; and strategically leading programs involving safety and compliance training, safety audits and accident prevention.
  • Drives focus on sales results by implementing improvements and changes as well as pushing through innovations to achieve best in class performance which exceed sales goals. Accountable for modernization sales P&L within the region. Includes proactively addressing weaknesses and risks within the modernization sales business.
  • Leads modernization sales for the region with a strong emphasis on customer experience, growth and retention. Includes nurturing an organizational culture that challenges others to generate breakthrough ideas and take well-reasoned risks.
  • Develops business through strong customer relationships with key customers and consultants. Maintains a strong working knowledge of the overall market area movement including market penetration, building modernization, and competitors' positions and strategies. Includes participating in key customer meetings and bid opportunities.
  • Strategically reviews P&L, sales reports and forecasts of bidding activity for each district and branch to ensure the region is making plan. Monitors AR, material estimate variances, books and other items impacting working capital and EBIT. Works with district and branch management to ensure business plans and sales goals align with the budget plan.
  • Collaborates with USFO vice president of sales and regional president to review performance of district and branch sales and ensure elevate processes and corporate initiatives are being successfully utilized. Includes regularly visiting branches and districts and setting strategies for performance improvement as necessary, and overseeing performance management and progressive discipline when goals are not met.
  • Engages in talent development and recruiting of key sales positions. Acts as mentor to sales trainees and counsels sales employees on career development.
  • Approves reviews and participates, as needed and required, in large bids, and coordinates bid approval with the regional president and USFO.
  • Oversees work performed by district modernization sales manager, and reviews CRM and sales incentives.
  • Implements and oversees strategic sales initiatives in keeping with corporate and regional strategic initiatives. Includes use of TK Elevator sales tools and training, i.e., CRM, Job Sight, Elevate, and STAR customer relations.
  • Maintains strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods. Includes maintaining a strong understanding of TK Elevator, and its regional and company mission and objectives, ethical standards and code of conduct. Able to differentiate TK Elevator offerings from competition in all branch markets.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's in Business Administration or related field a plus.
    • Requires 10 to 15 years of experience in upper level management and sales in the elevator industry.
    • Must have an in-depth knowledge of the modernization sales process.
    • Must be very well organized, have a high energy level, strong work ethic, acute attention to detail and be very process oriented.
    • Must be motivated, goal oriented and proactive.
    • Ability to identify, own, understand, supervise and delegate to ensure accurate completion under strict timelines with minimal guidance; ability to react well under pressure and willing to accept responsibility.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; must be able to address business challenges and provide solutions.
    • Must be team oriented and have the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work and collaborate with employees and customers within and outside the regional office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
