Video Editor - Athens Comedy Fest : Job Details

Athens Comedy provides regular weekly and monthly comedy shows around Athens, GA. Since 2021, Athens GA's comedy scene has grown with heart and a DIY spirit, and now it's ready for an Annual Festival! The Athens Comedy Fest is from May 2-4, 2025, at the Historic Morton Theatre which will be a weekend packed with laughs from incredible talent, featuring national headliners and local favorites.

Athens comedy is looking for a Video Editor Intern to grow the Brand of Athens Comedy and promote the annual Athens Comedy Fest.

Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage of comedy shows into clips for social media

- Format audio from the monthly Tournament of Topics show for podcast

- Create promotional videos for comedians of Athens Comedy

- Perform ad-hoc tasks for Athens Comedy Fest Board of Directors

Qualifications:

Skills: Communication, video editing, video audio editing, social media

Majors: Digital Media or Film Studies preferred, but not required
