Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and data-savvy Video Editor to produce engaging content for social media and performance marketing campaigns. This role blends innovative storytelling with a results-driven approach, creating videos that resonate with audiences, drive conversions, and align with our brands objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Production:
- Edit short-form and long-form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Incorporate storytelling techniques, transitions, motion graphics, and other creative elements to enhance video quality and engagement.
- Repurpose existing content into platform-specific formats optimized for audience preferences and performance goals.
Performance Optimization:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign KPIs such as click-through rates (CTR), cost-per-install (CPI), and audience retention.
- Conduct A/B testing on video elements (e.g., hooks, CTAs, and formats) to identify top-performing variations.
- Analyze campaign data and audience feedback to refine editing techniques and improve video effectiveness.
Creative Collaboration & Innovation:
- Work with the creative team to develop fresh concepts for video ads and organic social media content.
- Stay current on social media trends, digital marketing strategies, and emerging formats to ensure content remains relevant and innovative.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, high-quality standard.
- Adapt and iterate on edits quickly based on feedback to meet deadlines and project goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms or performance marketing.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific video requirements.
- Familiarity with performance marketing concepts and the ability to interpret campaign metrics to inform creative decisions.
- Creative storytelling skills, especially in capturing attention within the first few seconds of a video.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Basic animation and motion graphics experience.
