Job Summary: Engineering and technical support to Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic for the USCG Integrated Product Team (IPT). This support primarily includes the engineering, integration, and technical services required to outfit Coast Guard cutters with C5I systems. Additionally, support includes integration and technical support for standalone shipboard systems. Scope of work includes program, engineering, technical, drafting, training, logistics, procurement, intelligence and operations support services for designated C5I systems onboard National Security Cutter (NSC), Polar Security Cutter (PSC), Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC), Fast Response Cutter (FRC), Medium Endurance Cutters (WMEC), and other afloat, mobile and shore platforms.Requirements:* Secret Clearance requiredEducation and Experience:* High School diploma or GED.* Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.* Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: powering up teleconferencing equipment, checking equipment for proper operation, setting audio levels, positioning camera functions, performing secure or non-secure setup, operate or assist in operating session control panel, studio control unit, and high-resolution graphics.Essential Duties:* Diagnose and resolve media system problems.* Direct and coordinate activities of assistants and other personnel during production.* Compress, digitize, duplicate, and store audio and video data.* Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment to record, edit, and transmit radio and television programs, motion pictures, video conferencing, or multimedia presentations.* Control the lights and sound of events, such as live concerts, before and after performances, and during intermissions.* Switch sources of video input from one camera or studio to another, from film to live programming, or from network to local programming.* Record and edit audio material, such as movie soundtracks, using audio recording and editing equipment.* Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio and video equipment.* Design layouts of audio and video equipment and perform upgrades and maintenance.* Conduct training sessions on selection, use, and design of audio-visual materials and on operation of presentation equipment.* Monitor incoming and outgoing pictures and sound feeds to ensure quality and notify directors of any possible problems.* Mix and regulate sound inputs and feeds or coordinate audio feeds with television pictures.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Technical expertise in relevant systems, methodologies, and tools applicable to the industry* Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion of projects* Ability to analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions, and apply sound judgment to resolve challenges* Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effectively conveying information to stakeholders and team members, including report writing and presentations* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, processes, and deliverables while adhering to industry standards and best practices* Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and industry requirements* Financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints* Experience in creating, reviewing, and validating documentation, proposals, and reports to ensure alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations* Flexibility and adaptability to adjust strategies and processes in response to changing project demands and environmentsVector CSP, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
