The History Department at Manhattan College invites applications for a full-time, visiting assistant professor position in US history for the Spring 2025 semester, with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester, including options from: both halves of the US history survey, an upper-division course in their area of specialization, and lower-division courses in the History program or the Kakos School of Liberal Arts and Sciences Core Curriculum. The ability to teach Latin American history courses is also welcome. For more information, visit us at Key responsibilities:Teach 12 credits (4 classes a semester) of History during the Spring 2025 semester, which begins on January 14.Reports to:Margaret Groarke, Chair of History, Political Science and International StudiesQualifications:A Ph.D. in history.
