Visual Designer - 24 Seven Talent : Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Visual Designer to join our client's team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Sr. Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging designs for various print materials, ensuring brand consistency and delivering high-quality products.

Timing: Mid/late November

Duration: Ongoing contract-to-hire

Hours per week: 40+

Location: Metro Detroit (onsite 3 days/week, Tues/Wed/Thurs)

Type: Contract-Hire

Pay rate: $38-45/hr | Salary: $80-90K

Responsibilities:

• Develop visually appealing designs for print materials such as brochures, flyers, packaging, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that align with the brand guidelines.
• Create compelling layouts by utilizing typography, imagery, color schemes, and other design elements.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitors' designs to stay up-to-date with the latest design techniques.
• Work closely with printers and vendors to ensure accurate production of printed materials.
• Provide guidance to junior designers in executing design projects effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer or similar role in print design/print production.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your skills in designing impactful print materials.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout composition principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
