Voice Engineer Lead / Architect GES is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to identify and resolve performance issues and be responsible for all troubleshooting, repairing/replacing, configuring, monitoring and upgrading the unclassified voice architecture. This position is on-site and mission essential. Hours
- Monday thru Friday Day Shift Hours: 7 AM to 3 PM

Clearance Level
- Secret clearance is required to be considered for the position.
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearances at the level required by the client for the position.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
- Must have an active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE), prior to start.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNPC) or equivalent or higher certification
Technical Experience
- 5+ years as a Cisco Voice Engineer
- SME on Cisco UCM, SBCs, Call Manager Express, voice gateways
- Expertise in modern and legacy voice protocols
- Manage multi-site dial plans and call routing
- Ability to understand network traffic flow in complex networks
- Network diagraming and documentation (Visio)
- Writes well formatted technical instructions
- VMWare Network Virtualization
- Routing/Switching
- Great interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach others on complex topics
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation and technical support of Cisco Unified Communications related technologies
- Assist Tier-II and Tier-III engineers with ticket escalation, acting as program voice subject matter expert (SME)
- Conducts technical assessments and develops solutions to complex problems
- Tests emerging technologies within the system's integration lab (SIL) environment
- Uses vendor tooling to diagnose root causes of voice related issues
- Write technical documentation on voice systems and projects
- Acts autonomously by improving responsible systems and making progress toward program initiatives.
- Coordinates with external voice SMEs, provides guidance on network configuration and design constraints
- Upgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems to meet cybersecurity requirements
- Review work/installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standards
- Perform other Voice technology-related duties as assigned
