Volunteer Coach-(SY24-25) - Scituate School District : Job Details

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Scitaute Public Schools is seekng a dedicated and skilled Volunteer Coaches.

ESSENTIAL DUITES & RESPONSIBILITES:

* Help instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement

* Help teach and improve student athletes the fundamentals and principles of athletics

* Help develop appropriate training programs and practice schedules

* Helps with the proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment and uniforms

* Helps analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing team

* Helps provides direction, encouragement, and motivation to prepare athletes for games

* Helps plan and direct physical conditioning programs that enable athletes to achieve maximum performance

* Helps instruct athletes on proper techniques, game strategies, sportsmanship, and rules of th egame

* Ensure that medical and safety requirements are adhered to

* Attends all training and staff meetings, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

* CPR certified or willingness to obtain certification prior to starting position

* Previous coaching experience and participation in a college or high school sports program

TERMS: Stipend position
