Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible to lead a complex program to recruit, train, and supervise a corp of volunteers who perform critical support roles throughout the hospital. In this role, is responsible for fostering a culture of appreciation and accountability among volunteers- and with employees they assist- so that crucial needs of patients, family members, and staff are met.

Serves as a resource for unit-based leadership in managing patient or family complaints prior to discharge. Additionally, the patient relations coordinator works closely with nursing and other clinical leadership to drive patient experience improvement efforts and is a subject matter expert in the patient experience survey tool(s).

What qualifications you will need:

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

* 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region.
