Summary of Position:

The Volunteer - Auxiliary role provides support services to Barton and the community through a variety of programs and fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

* High school graduate or GED required

Essential Functions

1. Provides consistently exceptional care at all times.

2. Greets and escorts patients and visitors at the Hospital front desk to the appropriate department.

3. Delivers flowers, cards and personal essentials to patient rooms.

4. Visits with patients on the Med Surg/Ortho floor and provide items from the Comfort Cart.

5. Supports auxiliary fundraising.

6. Assists with community blood drives.

7. Places orders for baby's footprints for the recognition wall.

8. Assists at Christmas Cheer with food organization and distribution.

9. Responds to the needs of the department by performing other duties, as necessary.
