Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Summit Pacific. There are many ways to Volunteer at Summit. From patients to administration, we have an opportunity for your to give your time and talent.
All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, unless a special exception is made. In many cases, a high school diploma may be required.
More information on volunteer requirements will be sent after an inital converstation where we match you to your interest.

Summit Pacific Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with a Level IV Trauma Designation. We offer 24-hour emergency services including a full service laboratory and diagnostic imaging department. Our Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week. We also operate three rural healthcare clinics and an urgent care clinic that is open seven days a week. Our hospital is unique due to our size and accessibility. We pride ourselves on our low emergency department wait times and our ability to give patients access to a doctor quickly.
At Summit Pacific we have the ability to stabilize and provide advanced trauma life support to critically injured patients prior to transferring them to a higher level trauma center by ambulance or helicopter. Summit Pacific has been instrumental in saving the lives of heart attack and stroke victims and those with traumatic injuries.
Summit Pacific Medical Center also has an Acute Care unit with a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Program (also known as Swing Bed). This program cares for patients who are recently out of surgery or recovering from illness who need a bit more recovery time before returning home. Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy are conveniently located inside of the building and are available for inpatient and outpatient services.
Summit Pacific Medical Center opened its doors in 2013 after moving from its home of 56 years in neighboring town McCleary, WA. Our new facility was voted Top 9 Most Beautiful Hospitals in America by Soliant Health after a nationwide vote in 2016. Additionally, we opened our doors in early 2019 to a new 33,000 square foot Transformational Wellness Center.
