Volunteer Services Coordinator - SUNY Upstate Medical University : Job Details

Job Summary:

The Coordinator provides support for the programs and volunteers of The Office of Volunteer Programs. The coordinator works closely with team members from departments across the organization to guide volunteers in their onboarding experience. Job duties require attention to detail, ability to organize and track multiple timelines and pathways for effective placement of volunteers. Selected candidate will have a proven record of success in a role that requires continuity in spite of frequent interruptions and flexibility with change. Candidate must possess empathy and kindness with an understanding and gratitude those who volunteer.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in related field with two years of experience OR an Associates Degree with 4 years of related experience in health care. Must have experience working with teens and college age students.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with volunteers preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM
