Overview Coordinates the on-site community volunteer work projects by determining the needs for what jobs and supplies are needed within the community and the work-site project. Field coordinator oversees the management of each volunteer work project to ensure completion. Determine the needs for volunteers, evaluate volunteer abilities for work projects, place volunteers in community work sites, oversee the training of volunteers, document volunteer work hours and follow-up on volunteer services, projects, and work sites. Responsible for completing reports on finished projects. QualificationsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT None required.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT At least (2) years of experience in a related field.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER QUALIFICATIONSEmployee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers; or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Requires basic computer knowledge.PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
