VP, Finance - Digital Realty : Job Details

Position Title: Vice President, Finance Location: Austin, TX / Dallas, TX / New York, NY / London, UKThe role The Vice President, Finance role offers a motivated and energetic candidate the opportunity to leverage their skillset to contribute to the development of a growing global organization that plays a vital role in the success of the company's global finance team. The position will support the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, investor relations, treasury, and various joint ventures and will report to Digital Realty's Senior Vice President, Global Finance. The role will also coordinate with global counterparts across the Digital Realty organization to ensure alignment with global reporting, financial policies and external reporting requirements.What you'll do

• Provide support for financial, strategic and commercial decisions across the company and in direct support of other finance functions (FP&A, treasury, capital markets, accounting, tax), making recommendations through value-add analysis, insights and analytics
• Drive and assist in the quarterly earnings process, working closely with Digital Realty's Investor Relations team and providing support on investor metrics and financial information for earnings release and investor meetings / conferences
• Participate in meetings with various investor groups (equity, debt, JV partners) to discuss financial results and business strategy
• Drive and assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting packages to the Board of Directors that include both financial and operational information and insights. On an annual basis, also includes long-term projections and strategy update
• Assist in capital raising and capital markets transactions, including asset-level financings
• Assist in the upgrade of reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process and system improvement and liaison with the various business departments
• Collaborate with various teams across disciplines including operations, portfolio management, sustainability, legal, engineering and sales to problem solve and maximize business efficiency
• Work with Digital Realty's Investments Team as required to provide support on dispositions and acquisitions

What you'll need

• Minimum of 10 years+ experience in a similar FP&A role in a listed entity, ideally with experience in external reporting requirements
• Perceptive, self-starter, able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player, flexible and adaptable to change
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and meet tight deadlines
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings; experience with investors and investor relations is preferred
• Extensive network of external relationships that can be leveraged to keep a pulse on the business, industry dynamics, and capital markets
• Fluency in English is a must, additional languages desirable
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook, etc.)
