Location: New York (Hybrid/ In-office 3 days per week)

Job Description

Position Overview: The Head of Growth and Brand Strategy will drive the strategic direction and execution of Storyful's growth initiatives, with a focus on acquiring and retaining customers for Storyful within the media, broadcast, publishing, and marketing/communications sectors. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics in these sectors, customer behavior, and brand positioning. You will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders to align growth strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute revenue growth strategies specifically targeting B2B clients in the media, broadcast, publishing, and marketing/communications sectors.
  • Brand Strategy: Lead brand and communications strategies that elevate Storyful's reputation among marketing, communications, and media professionals.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Oversee and optimize client acquisition strategies across all channels.
  • Supporting Enterprise Sales: Collaborate with the sales teams to support large, complex sales cycles.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage data to adjust and refine growth strategies.
  • Requirements:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in B2B marketing developing and executing growth strategy.
  • Proven success in leading brand strategy initiatives that enhance customer engagement.
  • Strong experience in client acquisition and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights to inform revenue growth strategies.
  • Strong understanding of B2B market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent track record in developing retention-focused strategies.
  • Familiarity with the needs and challenges faced by media, marketing, and PR sectors is highly desirable.
  • Pay Range: 175000 – 205000
