SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Implementation plays a pivotal role in the strategic expansion of the organization's health system partnerships, including home health and hospice services. This leader is responsible for the end-to-end management of new agency launches, driving the delivery of strategic objectives, and ensuring operational excellence and sustainability. This role demands a high level of ownership, strategic oversight, and accountability in steering projects from conception through to integration and optimization. Additionally, the Vice President will lead direct reports and cross-functional teams drawn from various departments, ensuring cohesive collaboration and the achievement of shared goals.

Major Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership and Vision
  • Strategic Direction: Define and implement a comprehensive strategy for launching new agencies, aligning with the organization's overarching goals. Lead strategic initiatives that promote scalable, sustainable growth.
  • Executive Decision-Making: Make key strategic decisions that influence the long-term success of agency operations, balancing immediate needs with future growth objectives.
  • Strategic Accountability: Accountable for the strategic alignment, financial results, and operational success of new agency initiatives.
Comprehensive Launch Oversight
  • Project Leadership: Assume full responsibility for the lifecycle of new agency projects-from initial feasibility studies and resource allocation to operational execution and post-launch evaluation.
  • Resource Management: Direct all aspects of resource planning, including budgeting, staffing, and logistics, ensuring optimal allocation for successful project outcomes.
Operational Integration and Excellence
  • Operational Systems Development: Oversee the development and implementation of operational systems and processes that ensure new agencies are implemented efficiently and integrate seamlessly with existing structures.
  • Quality and Compliance Oversight: Maintain rigorous oversight of operational quality and regulatory compliance, adjusting strategies as market and regulatory landscapes evolve.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal leadership, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and execute a communication strategy that ensures transparency and ongoing alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
Performance Accountability and Metrics
  • KPI Development and Monitoring: Develop and rigorously monitor key performance indicators that measure the success of new agency implementations. Report these metrics to senior executives, the board, and health system partners, providing strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Result-Driven Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to achieving set targets and outcomes, driving teams to meet or exceed expectations through proactive leadership and strategic guidance.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Extensive leadership experience in managing healthcare implementation projects, preferably in home health or hospice settings.
    • Proven capability in strategic planning, project management, and operations with a strong focus on results and efficiency.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
    • Exceptional leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and mobilize diverse teams towards achieving common goals.
    • Superior negotiation and communication skills, essential for interacting with stakeholders and leading through influence.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and operational compliance in multiple states.
    • Experience with healthcare IT systems to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Additional Requirements:
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% to effectively manage new agency setups and ensure ongoing excellence.
