Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to lead an Electrical Utilities ConstructionDivision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale energy projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Substation and BESS Construction Division, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of substation and BESS construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize project performance, enhance operational efficiency, and drive cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety protocols.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to support project success and business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to expand the division's portfolio.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Report to senior leadership on project status, financial performance, and strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on substation and BESS construction.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale energy projects and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, optimize processes, and achieve operational excellence.
