Resume and Interview first. Northrop Grumman – Cutting Edge Optronics (CEO) is looking for a highly motivated Assembler. This position requires a team oriented individual to perform tasks associated with the Wafer processing area.

wafer processing refers to the series of manufacturing steps involved in taking a raw semiconductor wafer (a thin slice of silicon) and meticulously adding layers of materials, patterning them with specific designs, and ultimately creating functional components like high-power laser diodes, by utilizing techniques like deposition, etching, and photolithography, all within a cleanroom environment to ensure high quality and precision

Responsibilities are subject to change dependent upon your personal experience/strengths and specific needs of Cutting Edge Optronics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Good fine motor skills

  • Willingness and capability to learn new tasks

  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with peers for training and work flow coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience related to the fabrication of laser diode bars and arrays or similar manufacturing experience

  • 2-year technical associate's degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Quality experience

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
