We provide opportunities to work across our national network. dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our JFK team supporting the JFK airport. Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Administrator at dnata Catering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the inventory management process, coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, and maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities. Working closely with the warehouse team, you will track stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and initiate replenishment orders to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained at all times. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and implementing best practices for storage and handling of materials. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in managing all documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes. As a Warehouse Administrator, you will contribute to dnata Catering's commitment to delivering timely and high-quality catering services to airlines, ensuring seamless coordination between the warehouse and production teams. dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers. Accepting applications until: You WillESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Check, conduct, and audit inventory as required for Airlines.
  • Maintain and manage all US Customs documents for all airline accounts.
  • Assist with supervision of building 149 equipment, Doughty, and warehousing staff.
  • Willing to act and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Perform a variety of specialized administrative support functions.
  • Maintain clean storage areas daily. Clean up spillage, and breakage.
  • Must ensure all dnata Food Safety Standards are adhered to during the shift.
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 weekly pay, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training You HaveEDUCATION: High school diploma or GED with six plus years related experience in warehouse, logistics within a manufacturing industry. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • knowledge of VSIE processing.
  • Must be able to pass Customs and Border control.
  • Manufacturing experience and/or Food Processing industry a plus.
  • Know and follow all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to track task progress to completion, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must have a driver's license and meet insurance MVR requirements.
Intellectual/Social demands: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly. Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds.
