Job Description:Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Direct the activities of all employees in their respective areas including day warehouse, night warehouse and fleet ensuring the highest level of productivity, damage reduction and error elimination.
- Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization.
- Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of merchandise.
- Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records.
- Track and send reports, including warehouse activities.
- Inventory management.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and safety enforcement.
- Perform assigned projects as instructed.
Requirements include:- 5+ years management experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
- The ability to understand a company's profitability and identify areas where cost savings can be made and to operate within the company's Profit and Loss budget.
- Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA.
- Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
- Must be willing to obtain you CDL Class A within 6 months-1 year of employment
- Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member with leadership skills for coaching and developing employees.
Education- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
