**Job Description:**

**Job Summary:** The Warehouse and Dock Clerk, under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, shall regularly monitor and report inventory levels and availability, deliver in-house requesteditems per department requested orders and/or inventory requests, inspect and control receiving orders per packing list, prepare incoming and outgoing mail for distribution, prepare the receiving, storing, shipping, distributing, and issuing supplies, equipment, and merchandise within the shipping and receiving room and/or warehouse environment, check incoming and/or outgoing packages by such methods as counting, measuring, and weighing, maintain related clerical records, gather, sort, pack items for shipment, and assist in managing the LTBB mandated recycle program for the enterprise.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping and delivery priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures.

* Inspects, receives, prepares, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and / or ships incoming and / or outgoing shipments, including regulated gaming packages (such as slot tickets, dice, roulette balls, cards, etc.) by such methods as counting, weighing, distributing, taking and maintaining inventories.

* Completes courier forms utilizing computerized shipping/tracking programs such as UPS World Ship to process shipping orders.

* Adheres to all appropriate Tribal, federal, state and local laws and Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) regulations, as applicable.

* Adheres to all Shipping and Receiving policies and procedures.

* Assists in managing LTBB mandated recycling program for casino enterprise.

* Maintains Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner to facilitate efficient working environment.

* Maintains accurate manual and electronic inventory of warehoused items.

* Routes inter-company mail, postal, and UPS/FEDEX, enters data into computer receiving system, and submits all applicable paper work to accounts payable.

* Assists Shipping and Receiving Supervisor with development, training, and implementation of Shipping and Receiving policies and procedures.

* Responsible for administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, spreadsheets and other office procedures and terminology.

* Must be diplomatic, resourceful, and ethical in dealing with all people and in all situations.

* Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work.

**Job Requirements:**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 18 years old.

* Demonstrated commitment to customer service.

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.

* Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Forklift certification must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.

* Must be flexible with work shifts and days off.

* Ability to perform heavy physical labor under all types of outdoor weather conditions as well as all work environment conditions.

* You may be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

* Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
