We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in an industry-leading recession-proof business. Job Summary:This is an vital operational role that will help to keep our warehouse, supplies, vehicle fleet, and equipment organized and in good working order allowing our teams to quickly respond to disaster recovery and restoration opportunities within our assigned franchise territory area.Core Competencies:The Warehouse and Equipment Maintenance Manager MUST be extremely dependable, a team player, and possess a positive attitude. Additionally, MUST be able to quickly problem-solve, multi-task, and work well under pressure as our business can be extremely fast paced.Warehouse Duties:
- Oversee supply inventories and assist with creating reorders, and restocking as necessary
- Manage the specialty equipment tracking and checkout/in process
- Coordinate proper cleaning and restocking of equipment after use
- Assist the large loss and storm teams with refilling and organizing equipment trailers after each use
- Monitor and coordinate the weekly dumpster exchange schedule with dumpster vendor
- Certified (or ability to get certified) to operate a forklift
- Ensure warehouse and business property are kept clean and looking professional inside and out
- Grounds maintenance including grass mowing and snow removal as necessary
- On-call availability 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as needed or required during critical weather events
- Assist and collaborate as needed with other departments within the business
- Achieve and remain current in required safety and/or emergency response certifications
- Other warehouse duties that might be assigned by Owner or GM
Equipment and Fleet Duties:
- Over time, become familiar with proper use and routine maintenance requirements of our specialty cleaning and drying equipment
- Ability to trouble-shoot and conduct basic repairs of smaller electronic and gas powered equipment (such as replacing fan motors, switches, pumps, etc.)
- Oversee and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance requirements such as oil changes, tires, etc. with local service providers
- Knowledge and ability to trouble-shoot and conduct certain lighter duty repairs to fleet vehicles, trailers, and facilities (this might include such things as installing GPS tracking equipment, changing vehicle bulbs and wiper blades, fixing door handle mechanisms, changing out a sink faucet, etc.)
- Other fleet or equipment maintenance duties that might be assigned by Owner or GM
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience REQUIRED in warehouse management and/or fleet maintenance and repair...both would be a HUGE plus!
- Certified (or ability to get certified) to operate a forklift
- Valid DL (CDL preferred) and clean driving record
Working Conditions:
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending over, and lifting throughout the day.
- Occasionally climbing ladders or under vehicles
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50lbs
- Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold.
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times
Normal Working Hours: FT/Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm (occasional after hours as needed)Benefits:
